Barbara Leigh-Hunt

Barbara Leigh-Hunt plays Brenda Margaret Blaney (Frenzy), a woman raped and strangled by the serial killer Bob Rusk (Barry Foster). The rape and murder scene is very disturbing even today, and is the most graphic murder scene Hitchcock ever filmed.

When Brenda is raped she speaks the following verses from the Bible (Psalms 91, 5-6 and 11):
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flieth by day; 6 [Nor] for the pestilence [that] walketh in darkness; [nor] for the destruction [that] wasteth at noonday. [...] 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
